One of the many highlights of KazCon will be our Charity Auction. We were going to hold a poll to determine the charity for this year's KazCon. However, due to Kim Manners' recent death from complications in his fight against lung cancer, the KazCon committee has selected the National Lung Cancer Partnership as this year's charity. All proceeds from the auction will be donated in recognition of Kim Manners and all he has contributed to the show and our love for it. For those who don't know, Kim Manners was a much loved director and executive producer on the show.

Here is a brief description taken from the National Lung Cancer Partnership website:

The National Lung Cancer Partnership is a group of leading doctors, researchers, patient advocates, and lung cancer survivors who are working together to improve treatments for lung cancer patients. We are dedicated to raising public awareness of the disease and generating funding for lung cancer research.

At the first KazCon, the Cast/Crew of Supernatural donated items for the auction! We are trying to make contact with them to get more items for this year's auction. Stay tuned for more details.
