Bayre: "This year I did get to attend Kazcon and it was great. I can't thank the committee enough for organizing such a great event. They did a wonderful job making sure everyone had a good time."
Tammy: "I can not thank the organizers enough for pulling together this exceptional weekend. It was a great group of fans and we had lots of fun connecting and talking about Supernatural for three solid days. It was especially nice to meet and get to know the fic writers who make this fandom my favorite place to go when I am escaping the real world! The people, the food, the panels, the auctions, the vids, and the friendships made... simply the best!!! Thank you!!!"
Lia (from Brazil): "Unfortunately, in Brazil there are not fan cons or meetings for TV shows. I traveled about 8600 km or 5344 miles to KazCon 09, and it was worth every single mile! Honestly, I wasn't prepared for the event, as I simply didn't know what I was supposed to do or say. I was impressed with the degree of audience participation and genuine love for our boys. What was my favourite part? I loved the vitality, enthusiam and animation in everyone. Everyone I met was truly friendly and helpful and... I can't explain how much I learned about SPN and all the nice people there. Intelligent and humorous presentations made the learning experience so worthwhile. I'm sure that everybody felt well taken care of and enjoyed every moment. I have nothing but gratitude to the coordinators and people that worked to put everything together. I want to take the opportunity to thank everybody as it was wonderful to attend such an amazing event, to meet such wonderful people. Thanks to all.
I had a wonderful time!"
Rob.1: "This year was even better than '07. Great seeing everyone who could return again. Enjoyed all the panels that I attended or partially attended. I would pass up a chance to meet and get an autograph from Frank Miller to come back to another KazCon (hint, hint, Tonya). Special thanks to the committee (Tonya, Emily, Amanda and Terry) and to my fellow Hellhounds. I hope everyone made it back home safely and hopefully we'll all see each other again no later than 2011 (Hint, Hint, Tonya). It was so great to be around friends who "get me"."
gidgetgal9: "Kazcon 2009 was a blast. The panels and activities were great but the best part? Connecting with fellow fans. I've made some great friends that I look forward to staying in touch with!"
Sylvia Bond: "KazCon 2007 was one of the funnest cons I've been to in ages. It was well organized and interesting and fun and I could indulge my passion for Show 27/7. All day, all night, ALL Supernatural! The panels were GREAT, my favorite one was the weapons one done by two guys named Rob. They showed us lots of things, and it was a very hands on panel. I also loved the fact that I could drive to Lawrence from my home town in Colorado; doing the road trip made it even more fun for me. This year, I've talked my fan pal Amalthia into flying down from Alaska to join me!"
agt_spooky: "I had an amazing time at KazCon. The scavenger hunt was a blast, the panels were varied and interesting and the outing to Stull cemetery was a lot of fun. But most of all were the new friends I made. KazCon is a wonderful size con where you can really get to know all of your fellow fans. Kudos to the organizers for putting together a great weekend. I'm looking forward to KazCon 2!"
Gidgetgal9: "Kazcon was so much fun. The activities were fun. But to be honest, the best part for me was meeting and hanging out with fellow fan's in a relaxed environment. I can't wait for the opportunity to hang with my fellow fans again! Is it August yet?"
Karen/Kumaproogey: "Kazcon was my first convention ever & it was a wonderful experience. I got to talk about the show with other fanatics like myself & experience it with people who understood my obsession. I met lifelong friends there that I still communicate with & some I even roomed w/ at a later convention. One of the best decisions of my life was to go to this convention!"
Carol: "KazCon 2007 was an incredible amount of fun. The panels each day were informative and fun, the food was fantastic and the best part was the comraderie; the meal times were wonderful for getting to know others that we just met. It was my first con ever and it was awesome to be with people that understood. We were all there for the same reason. There were a couple of writing panels to help those of us who wanted to write and were looking for a little help in that regard. Those were very beneficial and led by some of my favorite authors. There was a silent auction and a live auction, both of which were a LOT of fun. Proceeds went to support a very worthy charity. I'm really looking forward to KazCon 2009!"
mlebayre: "Well I didn't get to go to the actual event last time, but I'm hoping to make it to this one. I did participate in the author's auction, which was great fun and made me feel like a part of things even if I couldn't be there in person."
